Gluten-Free Sausage Balls

Gluten-Free Sausage Balls for the Freezer (Aldi Friendly)

Gluten-Free Sausage BallsMmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm. I just had these as a little snack! I had to test out the cooking time for cooking them from frozen, and snaps some pics. All work related! (Love this “job.”)

Aldi has been such a great friend in my Gluten-Free journey! Not only do they carry a lot of Gluten-Free products, but almost everything is either labeled “Gluten-Free” or “May Contain Wheat.” It takes out a lot of the guesswork.

Now if only they’d start carrying more Gluten-Free spices, everything would be right with the world. You will need to get your spices from another store, but all the other ingredients can be purchased at Aldi!

This recipe can be made with any gluten-free ingredients from any store. It doesn’t have to be Aldi, but Aldi sure makes it more affordable!

It should also be noted that I made my balls 2″ instead of the standard 1″. I live in the South, and we just do things bigger down here.

So far I’ve mostly been making GF breakfast to take to my Sunday School class, but I hope to branch out into other areas as well! I loved this idea because I can do all the hard work ahead of time and pop them in the oven on Sunday Morning and have a hot breakfast to-go and still get my family out the door in time (ish) for church.

My recipe was modified from Betty Crocker’s Gluten-Free Sausage Cheese Balls. A big thank you to my friend Ada who gave me the idea!
