Aldi Hack #1: How To Store & Remember Your Reusable Bags

Never forget your reusable bags again with this awesome Aldi Hack!

I get it, reusable bags are great. They help keep Aldi’s prices lower and save the earth at the same time. However, it really doesn’t save me or the earth if I can’t remember to bring them with me, and have to buy new ones every time! Anyone else have this problem?

I recently discovered this awesome thing called a stroller hook! Amazon has a great variety of stroller hooks or you can pick one up from Walmart or Target! It is seriously my favorite thing ever! No more digging in the basket under my stroller. I take it with me everywhere, including shopping.

Then I got an ingenius idea (If I do say so myself) and I started using a stroller hook to carry my reusable bags (as well as my purse/diaper bag) that always took up so much room in my cart.

This method also helps keep your child occupied, because he/she can slide it back and forth. Seriously, it took at least 10 tries to get a photo that wasn’t blurry because Bee was playing with the bags!

You can organize your bags neatly if you’re so inclined, but I just shove all of my bags into one bag, put it on the clip, and call it a day.

After I’ve unloaded my groceries at home, I put my bag of bags back on the stroller clip, and onto a hook in the garage. AND HERE’S THE KEY: I place the bags on a k-rail hook right in front of my car, so I’m staring straight at it when I get in the car.

And Voila! Your reusable bags are all ready to for next’s weeks shopping trip!

How do you store your Aldi bags so you don’t forget them? Do you think this system would help you?
